What Weight Loss Program are you on?

I am curios what everyone is doing to lose weight.  I have been on Weight Watchers for the last couple months.  I really like the program because it helps me keep accountable.  I go to a meeting each week and weigh in so seeing that number on the scale helps me stay motivated.  I have lost weight but not as much as I would have liked.  Mind you I dont always follow it perfectly and lately I have to say I have gotten a tad bit lazy.  The only thing is the cost is starting to get accessive.  At the same time I want to continue on my weight loss, so  I wanted to know what works for other people in their weight loss journey.

Going off Track “Water Weight ekk”

Well it looks like I have gotten off track again with my regime.  I am doing WW and I weigh in everyweek.  The last 2 weeks I have been either up a pound or down a pound but not showing any real looses.  I need to seriously get back on track and be accountable.  One thing I have noticed is I feel bloated alot with water weight and my hands feel really ache.  Anyone experience this and if you have what did you do?  I need to start chaging my diet again as I think I am consumming too much sodium in my foods.  Gotta start loving those Veges again…

2 tbsp ginger root, fresh, minced
2 medium garlic clove(s), minced

Thanks for the Exercise Suggestions

Hey thanks ladies for all the Great Exercise suggestions…. and it looks like I should check out getting a Tae Bo DVD.. I have the 30 day shred tape but to tell you the truth Julianne talks too much and its kind of irritating but the work out is a good one no doubt about that.  I just find its good to switch it up because its easy for me to get really bored with doing the same thing over and over again and then I am more likely to stop.  Well so far this week I am staying on track with my goal and have exercised each day and feeling real real good inside.  My lunches have been salads and even that can get a little boring too so if you have any great lunch suggestions I am all for it.  I am doing the WW plan also so staying on track with the points system is really easy for me.

Feeling Good =)

The daily exercise this week has me feeling uplifted and good inside.  I weighed in last night with a 1.4 pound weight loss… Funny I lost 1.4 pounds last week and another 1.4 pounds this weeks, well that must be my lucky number lately.  I am happy with that and feeling good.  They say if you loose too much too fast its harder to keep it off… Tonight I will do my walk and some strength training.  Was a little sore after strength training and my stomach too from crunches but its a good sore.  I feel alive again!!! Hey if anyone has any good Workout DVD’S they really love please share them with me.  I am finding that mixing it up a bit helps me stay on track and not get bored…. Well onward I go to drink my water, water, water and more water….

Accountablility =)

I am really loving this site very much.  It is helping me become more accountable and I really need that in my life.  I feel tired and stressed out lately and my not working out very much last week is not helping either.  I am here to make a plan of action, I want to workout everyday no matter what, walking or do my Shredding tape.  I believe being able to blog and make mini goals here it will help me so I begin with that.  I love reading everyone blog here and it has given me so much encouragement.  I hope that I can really do this, this time and have it not just be another failed attempt.  I am on my period today and its full blown and I could easily use that as an excuse not to do my exercising or eating right but I am not going to do it this time.

Beginning to a Healthier ME =)

I joined Weight Watchers 6 weeks ago… I started at 253lbs and today I am at 244.2 at a 8.8 weight loss so far.  I have to tell you the weight is coming off really slowly.  I thought by now it would be a little more but who am I kidding I am not 22 anymore.  Emotionally eating has always been my downfall just snacking away to hide my feeling whatever they may be at the time.  I am really proud of myself so far but far too hard on myself a lot of days.  I have a desk job so I sit all day at the computer and lucky enough to have the water cooler to stare at all day so I do get my waters in and go to the bathroom a gazillion times a day…..So I have been pretty consistent with my food and tracking what I eat and staying within my daily points.  The one thing I have had a hard time with is being consistent with my exercise program of walking.  I also just bought 30 day Shred and did it once and boy was I sore for days afterwords so I need to get that going on a consistent basis….. So back to the emotional eating…. that is still my downfall and really wanting to snack especially at night when I am missing my Fiance who is away right now… when he comes home I want to look good and feel healthy inside and out……
